Reservation and Booking

Thank you very much for choosing Klondike Heliskiing. In order to facilitate the booking procedure for your dream holiday we ask you to follow the guidelines below. Before booking please phone, e-mail or fax to confirm open space during your desired week. Your booking will consist of three steps:

1. Registration Form:
Please fill in the enclosed registration form. Before signing please read the enclosed Liability Waiver carefully and state so in the registration form. It is not necessary to send us the liability waiver, the waiver has to be filled out and signed in person here with us in Canada.
WE NEED BOTH OF YOUR SIGNATURES ON THE RESERVATION FORM !!!

2. Deposit:
To reserve your seat we also require a deposit of CDN $ 1500 per person per week (CDN $ 2000 for private helicopter) by bank wire to:

Please make sure that the full amount is credited to our account and all bank charges are paid beforehand. Please make sure that your name appears as the sender and your week # is clearly written on your bank transfer. After the deposit has reached our account your seat will be firmly reserved.

After receipt of your deposit and registration form we will send you a booking confirmation together with your invoice and more travel information. Should the chosen week be already booked we will contact you to find a different week which will suit your plans. If this is not possible we can put you on the waiting list or your deposit will be fully refunded.

3. Full Payment:
Full payment is due and payable to the BANK ACCOUNT IN CANADA 10 WEEKS prior to the skiing date. Again please send us a COPY OF THE BANK TRANSFER (see above). Should the amount have not reached our bank account at that time, we will contact you and then your seat may be released to guests on the waiting list. The deposit with us is non refundable, unless you find a person that could take your seat. Should you pay in full before May 31. or August 31. you will benefit from our “early bird special” discount of 5% and 3% respectively. You may also benefit from a better exchange rate should you pay before August.

4. Cancellation:
If cancellation is received in writing up to 9 weeks prior to skiing date full refund less your deposit will be granted. No refund will be given if cancellation occures within 9 weeks of the skiing date. Therefore we highly recommend and expect cancellation insurance!

5. Additional Information:
Heliski packages are sold in units, therefore no refund is given if there is no skiing on certain days because of inclement weather or helicopter breakdown or delayed arrival or early departure in Atlin. If less than 25000 vertical meters (82000 feet) have been reached we will refund you CDN $ 105 per 3000 vertical feet (1000 m) (see also schedules & rates).

Klondike Heliskiing serves a maximum of 30 guests per week and seats are selling quickly. Reserve your seat as soon as possible. Please think carefully when choosing a ski week. Upon your reservation expensive helicopters are leased, fuel is stored and other guests are turned down if the week is full.

We can also assist you in your travel arrangements by providing good deals for accommodation in Vancouver as well as pre- or post heliskiing excursions (for example a warm-up program in Whistler).
